The precursor to the baptismal services was a series of messages from the heart of God of the power of resurrection. As a result, my expectations were great for my baptism. I was fully expectant of what God was going to do in my heart and my life when I gave Him the obedience to identify with Jesus’ death and His resurrection. 

When I climbed into the baptism pool, there was a mixture of laughing and crying. However, I was not there to experience emotions. Although I did, my baptism was a spiritual act which affected my spirit man. 

Pastor John and Pastor Garth were in the baptism pool with me and Pastor Sharon was on the deck. This was really a special moment for me because, in the presence of my pastors who love me and with the Body of Christ as a witness, I identified in my heart and outwardly with the death and resurrection of Jesus.
