Footsteps to Destiny '21

This was certainly a big and bold adventure where we all encountered God while touring the Northern Cape. We spent over 5000km in the car going from Mokala National Park to the Karoo, then to Namaqualand and afterwards stopping at the Richtersveld Transfrontier Park, the Augrabies falls, the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and ending in the Kalahari.

Special Moments (There were many...)

What a time this was. What a bold adventure this was. What God moments we had and what moments we had with each other.

Footsteps to Destiny ’21 was a marker 16 days in my life. It was special from the moment the church blessed us in our going until the journey ended.

We had amazing moments in the cars (especially when we were driving most of the day for most of the days). For example, a special car moment that I remember was listening to Brother Hagin in the minivan with Brynn and Miranda.

We had times of going through declarations from the messages, times of speaking things out of our spirits and times of receiving the Word from Pastor John and Pastor Sharon which will continue to yield fruit in our lives. We had times of confrontation and we had times of fun.

One of the moments that I will always remember is a special time that I had with another person on the trip nearing towards the end of our journey. They were experiencing confrontations and in their moment of vulnerability with me, we could share the Word and bless each other. It was a moment of recognising what value relationships add to your life and the value of being vulnerable with each other. At the beginning of the adventure, Pastor John spoke to us about being a true witness and in this moment, I could be a witness of this person’s development, beautifully growing through a confrontation.
