Love in a Time of War

This is a production that comes from God’s heart and wakes us up to the time in which we find ourselves

In the Army of God

It really was an amazing evening, especially with all of the build-up and preparation, both spiritually and naturally for the production evening.

We were having awesome camp meetings with Pastor John, teaching about the world and chaos; Pastor Sharon, teaching and imparting prayer; Pastor Andy, who taught about being still; Brother Jerry, who taught about the basics of faith; and Brother Joe, who taught about dealing with the effects of satan.

We were then getting ready for the production of Love in a Time of War, where the Ecclesia was the theatre of God for Him to move and have His flow in theatre.

For me, what touched me was how as we were marching, we were marching as one unit- in the army of God. It was such a beautiful picture for me of how we as the Body of Christ wage the good warfare together, and that we must be of one mind, one heart and one accord. There would be much less of an impact of the production if we were out of sync with each other and with the music, which is a mirror of how ineffective as the army of God we would be if we do not walk together in unity and in sync with what God is doing.

This was also a growth point for me because I was put out of my comfort zone when I was asked to be a part of the team up on stage with narrative actions accompanying the introduction. However, this was a great time to watch my words and to trust the Holy Spirit to help me, and also to realise that it was not about performance- this was about carrying the heart of God across to the people in the Ecclesia.
